The Problem

We developed an in-store AI chat experience for Coach that reimagines how Gen Z customers explore products inside a retail environment.

The project was designed around a behavioral shift we observed among Gen Z customers: many shoppers prefer to independently research products, styling options, and social context before initiating conversations with store associates. Rather than immediately asking staff for assistance, they often seek a more self-guided, low-pressure discovery experience.

The Solution

An in-store AI chat experience for Coach that lets customers scan a QR code to ask product questions, get styling recommendations, discover matching Coach items, and watch related influencer styling videos.

How It Works

  1. Customers scan a QR code in-store.

  2. They enter a Coach-branded AI chat interface.

  3. They ask questions about a product they are interested in.

  4. The AI provides product information, styling ideas, and pairing suggestions with other Coach items. Customers can also explore related influencer styling videos for inspiration.

  5. When they feel more informed and confident, they can continue the conversation with store staff.
